After a day at Universal Studios, Miks and I decided to walk around China Town and get some dinner. Upon arrival we were greeted with a bouquet of stools collaborating within market. Suit tailoring, silk kimonos, red lanterns and elaborately decorated fans amongst several other offerings all contributed to the quirky Chinese inspired street. Not to mention the dozens of Jade stone dealers. We were quickly intrigued by a gently waft of incense and loud but calming music, after a few steps we found the sourse. Sri Mariamman Temple, Singapores oldest Hindu Temple hosting a ceremony. We watched from a respectful distance as people congregated to pray.
We sat down at a little restaurant, amongst hundreds in the food market of china town, to enjoy some tangy tangerine flavored chicken and chilli and garlic fried green beans. oh, and of course a tiger beer for Miky!
