Moalboal, a smallish town in the South of Cebu. We had just spent a few days in Cebu City, choking on fumes and dust. So we decided to head to Moalboal, famed for its beautiful beaches and outstanding Waterfalls.
To get from Cebu City to the beaches of Moalboal we decided against sitting on an airconditioning-less, cramped bus for six hours, with frequent breaks, including waiting for the bus driver to finish eating in the restaurant at lunch time (this happened to us) and instead opted for a spacious air-conditioned van to take us from Cebu city to Moalboal, a four hour car journey. We are renting a small apartment, thirty seconds walk from a rocky beach, with aqua waters.
We have a small kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, living room and balcony. Its very basic, plastic furniture and plain walls. The place is called Rosittas Cottages but I couldn’t find any info online.. We have also acquired a temporary pet dog, whom incidentally looks a little like my Grandparents old dog, Paddy. So thats what we call him.by
